HILLARY Clinton has said she will fight on in the election for the Democratic presidential nominee, despite disappointing results in Tuesday’s polls.
The former first lady lost the North Carolina primary to her rival Barrack Obama, who won by a large margin of 14 percent.
Although she achieved victory in Indiana it was only by a narrow and disappointing 2 points.
Despite Mr Obama enduring a series of crises over the last few weeks, including controversial TV appearances by his former pastor, Mrs Clinton seems to have been unable to capitalise on them.
Hillary has also been beset by her own financial problems, having to lend money to her own campaign. However, she spoke resiliently to reporters after the results and said she would continue in the race.
